ICRA publishes new RDF-based rating system specification

ICRA has made its new system specification document available. Work on moving from PICS-based labels to RDF-based Content Labels is now in its final phase with the complete switchover planned to begin in June 2005.

For now, content providers should continue to use the existing system for labeling their content. However, those wishing to label their content in the near future and benefit from the growth of the “semantic web” are invited to review the new system specification.
